We’re on the hunt for a valiant editor who can brave the silence and apathy of 19K+ supporters of ICC Independent Creators Connection group never sharing ANY of your articles, magazine sales links, supporting any of your Kickstarters or giving your Team kudos… with dignity and determination.
**Position**: Editor (Full-Time, Into The Void)
**Location**: At the heart of the action (wherever that may be)
**The Role**:
– **All Work**: Dive into the black hole of content creation, where your articles might orbit unseen amongst a galaxy of tweets and posts for all eternity. Expect a deluge of manuscripts, private messages and texts during your day job while the Boss is checking in on you, a mountain of copy to edit, and a relentless pursuit of perfection.
– **No Respect**: Brace yourself for the unsung hero’s path, where accolades are scarce, and the satisfaction of a job well done is your silent companion. You’ll get constant requests to know WHEN IndyPlanet will take the magazine live (even though they KNOW you DON’T WORK FOR KA-BLAM), but NOT ONE SHARE after you make the link public. Stand tall as the keeper of truths, even if your only audience is the occasional digital nomad or the bots that roam the wastelands of the ‘net. You’ll be the unsung hero of the realm, where your only fans may be the office plants (and even they’re a tough crowd).
